Marie Osmond's son apparently killed himself. Amazingly, many Americans noticed - but only because Michael's mom was famous.
Are we paying enough attention to those we love? What about the neighbor next door? If we inject a little bit of energy ahead of time, can we thwart an attempt? I'm not saying that this is a solution to the world's problems, but caring goes a long way.
